Subject: Wildlife Club needs chain saw help..this Sat., April 8th

The Beaver Island Wildlife Club (BIWC), in conjunction with the Michigan Dept of Natural Resources (MDNR), will be working on a Habitat Improvement project ("Early Successional Forests Project") on state land southwest of the Johnny Martin gravel pit off East Side Drive this Saturday, April 8th, 2017. Volunteers will meet at the Gravel Pit Saturday @ 10 am with chain saws. BIWC will provide a 50/1 fuel mix, bar oil and a lunch for volunteers.

Volunteers should bring all the safety gear and equipment they normally use when using a chain saw. The most important part of this project is to send each volunteer home safely at the end of the day.

All volunteers will receive a short briefing describing the work to be completed, and will need to sign a "Hold Harmless" release form provided by the MDNR before work begins.

Call Phil Wyckoff (2874) with questions. Thanks for your support.!!
