Beaver Island Michigan

Hi All! I am off to Murano, Italy tomorrow to take a glassmaking class. Murano is an island off the island of Venice and is really the "heart" of world glassmaking. My class is with Lucio Bubacco who makes large compositions, mostly figurines.

Hopefully my glassmaking/beadmaking will be taken to the next level! I'll also be visiting Florence and Tuscany for a side trip.

Have fun...I have been to Rome, Civitavecchia, Ancona and Naples...the food must be a aquired taste...Drink the local beers Nice place to visit but I wouldnt care to live there...Naples is the most trashed out city I have ever seen....They dont beleave in highway clean up...Everyone drives a moped or motorcycle...Looks like we are next Ancona by far was the best place to visit..
