How sad to hear. I was just discussing Loy with Uncle Buster Elms in Florida over spring break. She was a great lady and taught me how to make an awesome chocolate pie! I also recall fondly getting a Frosty Root Beer from her at the Beachcomber.

Yet another of the wonderful old time Islander character dying off. Very sad...

Loy will be laid to rest today, Friday, when the ferry comes in at 4:45pm. She will be taken directly to the cemetary, Holy Cross.
