Hey I have a crew of 20 coming over March 15 â?? yeah, I have been working my tail off preaching the glories of Beaver Island lately. What festivities are on tap this year?

Much of the same Jeremy. Not sure if they have the finishing touches on everything yet, will post when it is known. Certainly the fish toss, tug of war and relay race will occur outside as well as many of the "original" games on the inside. We're looking for an emcee too, how about lending a hand? Cheers!

Is anything happening the prior Saturday or Sunday?

Piper, the fun and games does occur on the weekend, ie: Fridaythe 14th and Saturday the 15th and will probably roll some into Sunday but are primarily held over the weekend to accomodate the many who have only the weekend to travel and sometimes quite a distance to be here. Needless to say there will be many that will also celebrate the "Great Day" itself!

The Chamber of Commerce is running an ad in mainland publications about the big day. Sent a copy to Jeff. Title is:

"You've Never Been To Beaver Island?"

Features St Pat's photos.

Hey McBain .................. Can you get Ben Gohs to come. I'll bet one of his humor columns about St Pats on the island would be a hoot!

Thanks, Rich - and Jeremy and Steve - for the information.

I have been persuaded to come and play at Donegal Danny's Saturday night and Sunday... it sounds like great fun once again.

See you there!

Jeremy used to play in our pipe band (Grand Traverse Pipes & Drums). Believe it or not (!) we have some great stories about him.

He's a legend in more than one discipline....

Wait a minute... weren't you dating Val before you joined the pipe band?

Hedging your bets, huh? I hope she doesn't read this!

Nope. Started dating her the fall after I started with the band. She saw me at a few parades and liked the way I could handle my bag.
