Fishing advice for vacation family

My family and I will be visiting BI next week and would like to fish. What lakes and species would be best this time of year. Would like to use a boat also.

There are some motels that offer a boat on an inland lake if you are staying at their motel. I believe the Laurain Lodge is one of those. You can also rent a boat (and motor if needed) from LakeSports. I have not been fishing this year yet, but last year I had the best luck on Fox Lake or Lake Geneserath with live bait. You can catch a lot of littler perch and panfish with worms, and perhaps some bass and pike with some minnows.
