Hello friends,

What do you call a shoe made from a banana? The answer will be at the end of this important Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island announcement.

The office will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023, in observance of Labor Day.

IMPORTANT announcement regarding SEPTEMBER COA MEAL VOUCHER SALES and September COA activities: Lonnie Allen, the Beaver Island site coordinator for the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging, will be on medical leave beginning Tuesday, September 12. The office will be closed unless otherwise noted.
No COA activities on Beaver Island are scheduled for September. COA clients are asked to purchase September meal vouchers on Friday, September 1. Meal vouchers will also be available September 5-8 at the Beaver Island COA office. Any COA client unable to purchase meal vouchers before Friday September 8, 2023, may contact the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging Office in Charlevoix by calling 231-237-0103.

More information about COA activities and office hours will be provided when it becomes available.
