Delores Gallagher
It is with great sadness that the family of Delores Marie Gallagher announces her passing on August 5, 2023, at the age of 85.
Dee was born on September 8, 1937, to Raymond and Sydney Hope Morrissette in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dee graduated from Union High School in 1955 and went on to pursue a career in secretarial work and worked for Alcoa, Penske, and Arbor Circle Corp. Dee was known for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and performing her duties with alacrity. In 1967, Dee married Brian James Gallagher and they moved to Wyoming, Michigan, where they raised their two children, Jim and Kathy. Dee was a loving and supportive wife and mother who always put her family first and loved to attend gatherings for her friends and family. Brian and Dee were a gregarious pair, making friends everywhere they went. Dee was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. After retirement, she often volunteered at the Island Treasures Resale Shop. And she did extensive genealogy research on her family. Dee was a kind and generous woman with a quick wit and ready smile.

Dee was predeceased by her husband, Brian, her sister, Lorraine, and her brother, Arthur. She is survived by her children, Jim and Kathy; five grandchildren, Erin, Danielle, Brenna, Sarah, and Kaecee; and great-grandson, Chester Ray.
