August is International Peace Month. Did you know there is a Peace Pole behind the library? Stop by to see it.
August 19th is World Humanitarian Day. We will also be celebrating the end of the Summer Reading Program with a party. It will begin with a ceremony at the Peace Pole and followed by a couple of craft activities- Create a Peace Rock to be placed in the BIDL gardens. Make your own origami Peace Dove. Stop by from 3-5 p.m. on the 19th.
