Hello friends,

Why did the physics teacher break up with the biology teacher? The answer to follow this brief update from the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island.

The Beaver Island Community Center offers complimentary coffee and donuts from 8-10 a.m. each Friday for all seniors ages 60 and older. This event is organized by the BIC Center and donors.

The Charlevoix County Veteran Affairs office monthly Veteran’s Social is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the BIC Center. Call 448-2124 for more information.

There will be no Chair Yoga or Bingocize on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Chair Yoga and Bingocize returns on Monday, July 10 and Thursday, July 13.
The Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island is seeking motivated individuals to assist seniors around their homes for about 4 hours each month. People with the heart to serve our older adults are asked to contact Charlevoix County C.O.A. Site Coordinator on Beaver Island Lonnie Allen at 231-448-2124.
