Does the decline in the bee population freak you out?

Bees Please

Post by TjD »

Does anyone have a hive of bees I could barrow for a week or so?

My choke cherries are in full bloom and I have only spotted one bee over the past few days. Last year there were a few bees around but it appears that there is even less bees this year.

Of course like most of the island I have a bumper crop of mosquitoes but I don't believe that they help in pollination. After the good rain last night I'm getting some flies which may help, but I doubt it.

If anyone out there could spare some bees the local birds and I would sure appreciate it.
