Water

Would like to know where we can get water on the island. We have a cabin with no water or electricity. We used to get our water at the airport before they remodeled. There was a hydrant there, but no more.
We now get water from a very nice neighbor lady when we are up there. Looking for another option on our next trip since we will need more than we normally get.
Hate to bother her too much.

The Peaine township park on East Side Drive has a hand pump.
Back in the 70's we were able to drink the water right out of Lk. Michigan.

It's never any bother, Marty. If you are concerned about needing too much, just make a few trips, giving the pump time to recover in between.

Thanks Cindy,
Will be up Wed. August 12-Mon the 17th. 6 of us and then on Friday there will be 8 more joining us.
I knew we would go through more water than we usually do.
