Eddie McDonough RIP

Edward â??Eddyâ?￾ McDonough, 61, of Chicago and formerly of Wenona, died peacefully October 26, 2017 with his family by his side and with his favorite music playing in Heritage Health in Minonk.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:00 PM Monday in St. Patrickâ??s Church in Minonk with the Franciscian Friars officiating. Burial will be in St. Maryâ??s Cemetery in Wenona. Visitation will be in the church on Monday from 10:30 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is handling arrangements.

Eddy was born in Chicago on May 2, 1956 to Allie and Geri (Cunnally) McDonough. He retired from the Auto Parts Industry. Eddy loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed painting, playing his drums and Corvettes.

Eddy is survived by three daughters, Mara McDonough of Wenona, Leah (Jacob) Hook of Wenona and Lora (Jesse) Middleton of Wenona; two sons, Eddy (Rebecca Caldwell) McDonough of Wenona and Jack McDonough of Minot, ND; 10 grandchildren; his mother Geri McDonough of Chicago; two sisters, Therese (Bob) Murphy of Chicago and Cherie (George) Gabriel of North Port, MI; two brothers, John (Nancy) McDonough of Chicago and Jimi McDonough of Chicago; nieces, nephews and their children.

He was preceded in death by his father Allie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family.

There's still time to send flowers to the Visitation at the St Patrick's Church Minonk from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on October 30, 2017.
