12:00 NOON VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

PLEASE JOIN US FOR
A MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE

WEATHER PERMITTING AND IF THE COAST
GUARD DOES NOT HAVE OTHER MISSIONS
THEY WILL CONDUCT A FLY-OVER AT NOON
COMING IN OVER THE HARBOR FROM THE EAST
TOWARDS THE MEMORIAL PARK

My recollection is that the Am Vets sponsor the memorial day program. The Chamber does the 4th of July, Marathon and the Celtic Festival.

Just to clear up an confusion the Coast Guard fly-over is the results of work by Larry Hanz. Larry has beed dealing with the Coast Guard for months and asking them for a fly-over this summer. Last week I received a call from them and we set up this event.

With the breakfast Sunday morning and the Memorial Day ceremonies on Monday your group really shows their patriotism and committment to Beaver Island. Keep up the fine work.
