In case of bad weather the Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Community Center.

We will have a Veterans Day ceremony this Friday at the Veterans Memorial Park. The school children are out at 10:55 and after those who want to participate arrive we'll start, probably around 11:15. We will post later what the plans are for in case of bad weather.

The AMVETS would like to thank Robertâ??s John Service and especially Jerry Lafreniere for repairing the sprinkler system at the Veterans Memorial Park. Jerry spent hours and hours troubleshooting and working on the system in order to make it work.

The flags at the Veterans Memorial Park are at 1/2 Staff in honor of the five police offices killed in Dallas.

Donâ??t forget this Sunday at 1:00 PM the Beaver Island Friends of Veterans and AMVETS Post 46 will have their annual flag disposal ceremony at the Peaine Township Hall.
