Wow - that AT&T Mobile Hotspot is very cool. It appears that you buy the thing and then pay a fee every month but you can use it everywhere, sounds like even traveling overseas. I'm looking into getting internet at our seasonal house on the island. The least expensive is 1 Mbps. I know this isn't real fast but is it workable for doing emails (writing and receiving), looking at web sites, Skype, Facebook, etc. The next step up is 5 Mbps for about $10 more a month. Hi - I am wondering if the new iPad wi-fi + 3g works on the island? For the 3g apparently you sign up for AT&T satellite which shows coverage where I am on E. Side Drive.

Does anybody actually know if this works?
