Thanks Scott. If the hardware business changes hands I still hope to provide veterinary services until a more viable option for the Beaver Island Community emerges. This year marks the 31st year of providing veterinary service to the island, thanks for all of those experiences as well.

Just a note to thank the island for over twenty years of business in the hardware. I am hoping in the near future to retire from the hardware business and am open to all of those who may be interested in taking over the business. The business can be purchased separately from the property and a lease...

Good that the dock will be more accessible and easier to access.

Bad that the trips will be 10-15 minutes longer and the issue of ice up can shorten the season.

I had guests coming for the boodle, they decided to come anyway but this underscores a real problem in promoting fall tourism. At one point we had a Celtic Festival and now the Boodle which may be going away in the fall. Hopefully this will fall on the agenda of the new chamber director

Some folks visited over the weekend and said the island is beautiful, except for the fact that so much is already closed unlike other Northern Michigan destinations. They had watched the " Under the Radar " Beaver island show and that is why they came, It was great the chamber got on this ...

Interesting discussion I can tell you from helping Dr White fill out the yearly encounter report that the BIRHC required of her that she saw approximately 400 patients per year. This included the many dental emergencies in the summer and her oral health exams often was the first line in discovering ...

And I forgot to mention my MAIN REASON FOR BUYING THAT PROPERTY. OUR WILDLIFE CLUB HAS HAD A GOAL OF PUTTING A FISHING PIER AT FOX LAKE AND I THOUGHT SOMEHOW BY FIRST OWNING THIS PROPERTY THAT GOAL COULD BE ACCOMPLISHED

Again, looking for folks with ideas on how we could accomplish that...

I own the property adjacent to the launch, actually the township has an easement for egress and ingress to the launch area. I am open to negotiation or the selling of an additional portion of the property or in fact the whole lot. It is a beautiful peace of property and it has never been used accord...
