Thank you for the information. I rarely use my cell when on the island but don't want to make a switch unless there is a decided advantage of one carrier over the other.

I keep my landline because of limited signal @ my cottage. (Donegal Bay/McCauley's Point)

I use a solar charger attached to the battery with the solar cell on the hood(about $60 at Menards) and put a can of Sea Foam in the gas tank. I leave it parked at the airport and have yet to have any issues.
