Beaver Island Michigan

I'm just a visitor to the island, have ridden "the Boat" a few times but fortunate enough to usually bring the plane up and spend a day. The interesting thing is conversations with people on the island about the boat. It's never just " The Boat" is always "The...... %&*#...

How big were the coolers?
Just wait till next season, the toilet paper is going to be in vending machines.....10 sheets for a quarter!

Maybe get the boat company to post inbound and outbound passenger numbers as the boat departs. I'm sure they know how many people are on board....take about two minutes to update a site. Separate count of visitors vs. residents. Might give a clue if it was going be be worth staying open. Granted, yo...

Thoughts from a "outsider".... Being fortunate enough to own a plane has allowed us to visit the island several times over the years and twice we brought vehicles over on the boat for a week or so. Looked at the thought of a retirement spot on the island but the logistics of running a smal...

Don't see how this is a problem.
Some people even eat them, taste almost like chicken.
