For the parade, the AMVETS will form up at the Beaver Island Veterans Park at 11:45 Saturday. It will be hot so if you want to feel free to bring a chair. Just received word from Judy Meister that BINGO will start up again on Wednesday, July 1 with doors opening at 6:30 and BINGO starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. at the Gregg Fellowship Hall.This schedule will be in effect for July and August. There will be Social Distancing and face masks are to be worn.

REMINDER...the service is not open to the public but you may view it at http://beaverisland.tv . Also it would be a nice gesture to visit the Island cemeteries and pay your respects to the Veterans (and everyone else) we have lost.

The list of Veterans we've lost in the past year as been updated. On Monday May 25th , weather permitting, AMVETS Post 46 will conduct a brief Memorial Day observance at the Veterans Memorial Park. In order to comply with the latest directive the attendance will be limited to ten members of Post 46...
